Christopher Goodfellow
He is Pedestrian 091177, the lowest class of Bustle citizen. After running afoul of the law, he and his family are arrested for crimes against the Bustle City Council. This infamous altercation has become known by millions of supporters as The Goodfellow Incident. He has been imprisoned and tortured for 15 years and his Pedestrian, Medial and Mazian followers have ignited a wave of loyal fanaticism for their heroic icon. Christopher Goodfellow has one burning desire -- to be a family again with his wife Noni and son Charles.
Lennox Handson
Handson was captured by the Authoritarians at a young age. Experimented on and tortured at The Projects, he was freed during one of Reverend Frank's rescue missions. He has been a committed supporter of Frank, Saab and the Maze ever since. Handson is a natural hunter and superb tracker, having been expertly trained by Frank and Saab. He wanders by himself commiting daring outlawish acts against Authoritarians and Airefets. His unique skills make him a deadly opponent and a valuable ally.
Saab Rademacker
Leaving his life as a Pedestrian for the alleys, Saab Rademacker was an Aloner for years, eventually coming out of his isolation to found the Maze with several other Alley-dwellers. He is an adept politician and is reknowned for his gunslinging. Saab built gus two pistols himself in isolation and named them after his wife and daughter. No one knows their names. Reclusive and quiet, only those closest to him understand him. Saab is considered the greatest of the Mazian leaders purely for the sheer respect he has earned over the years. He obsesses over change for the greater good of Bustle.
Authoritarian 1
A1 is a truely sinister being. Evil by every intent. He enforces the Bustle City Council's every order and using his Authoritarian enforcers, is known as the scourge of the Pedestrians and Medials. He crushes the spirit out of the lower class citizens at every opportunity. His only enjoyment is to experience the displeasure of others and to continue the inhumane experimentation and genetic development research at The Projects.
Reverend Frank
Trained to survive the wildlands, he has lived nearly his entire life in the alleys. Reverend Frank is one of several founders of the Mazian community, but prefers to spend his time amongst his disciples, The Agilchristians, a small cult living on the fringes of Mazian society. He is considered a Shaman to the people and is the hero of many battles against invaders. Frank is dedicated to rescuing prisoners from The Projects and gives his all to defending The Maze which he believes provides the only freedom left in Bustle.
Morris Hawker
Born in the Maze, Morris Hawker's parents were killed during the Floydal Wars and he was subsequently raised from a small child as a Mazian by Saab Rademaker. He is an expert tracker, hunter and spearsman and is famous for the singlehanded death of an Airefet when he was just 12 years of age. His legend grows. Morris is Saab's right hand man, taking on much of the responsibility of the day to day operations of the Mazian community.
